Name: William Hazeldine
Canon Point: Has just returned home after 6 months spent in Africa in the Okobango Delta, will be starting University in about a month.
Sex/Gender: Male
Actual Age/Apparent Age: 19
Belongings: iPod, headphones, white thermal type shirt, gray plaid buttondown shirt, jeans, sneakers
Skills and Powers: He can cook, and look after himself fairly well, speaks fluent Ungatoo, dances, can fix his own bike, and studies hard. He runs and works out regularly, so he's strong, but not moreso than the average 19 year old. He really doesn't have any superpowers, he's just a human. And an oblivious, naive one at that.
Physical Description: 6'1", curly blonde hair, striking blue eyes, with a healthy, athletic build. He's young, but doesn't tend to slouch, as he is from an upstanding British family. He walks with an unaffected, jaunty step, as though there is nothing in the world that could hurt him. He's lanky, in the way of most awkward 19 year olds, and a little graceless. With high, elfin cheekbones, a strong jawline, a sweet, disarming smile, a thin, pointed nose, large, long fingered, delicate hands, long legs and a cute rear end (something Jewel Diamond found irresistible when she first saw him) Bill is a handsome lad, who doesn't even know he is, and tends to be oblivious to sexual advances.
Book Description: His book would look like a dog-eared dime store novel, well worn and loved, the cover held on with Scotch tape, the pages soft from many readings. The bookmark would appear like a grocery store receipt hastily tucked between the pages to mark the place, though his name is written lovingly at the top in a mother's handwriting with gold ink.
History: He grew up in London, the son of a police detective (Jeremy Hazeldine) and a housewife (Joyce Hazeldine) and was fairly well off. All through school he was easy-going, and likeable. Had good friends who shared his love for learning. He went to the Church of England every Sunday with his Mum and Dad without fail, singing in the choir, attending Sunday School, and Bible Camp and eventually becoming an assistant to the preacher before he was out of high school. His parents could not be prouder. He graduated high school with high marks. After a 6 month missionary stint in Africa, living with the Ungatoo tribe and studying their ways and culture, he has returned home. During his time in Africa, his parents moved to Little Stempington, and he is just settling there for a little while until school starts within the next month, where he will be majoring in theology on a full scholarship.
Personality: Bill is a naive little ray of sunshine, oblivious to things outside of his personal experiences and what he has learned in school. A shy, sweet, loving boy, he would not know if somebody was hitting on him if it was held up in big neon signs; he has never dated a girl (there was Imogen back at Bible Camp when he was 10, which he might count, but no one else does) never so much as kissed one. Though he does seem to like them, he has no sexual experiences at all either female or male. His obliviousness is often mistaken for stupidity, and while he's not street smart by any stretch of the imagination, he really is very intelligent, well-read and kind-hearted. He has no idea that the housewives in his parent's neighborhood are having a Mafia-style war, and that the daughter of one of the family matrons has the screaming hots for him. He is always willing to help someone in need, and is always ready to do the right thing, even if it gets him in trouble. Loves dancing, reading, 70's music, Africa, school, God, his bike, and his parents.
World Description: Basically, a small, modern day suburban town outside of London England, except that the local housewives have become warring Mafia-style families.

First Person/Action brackets:
[looks shyly about, smiling as though to diffuse any ill will] Um, hello? Hi! Yes, um, I seem to have gotten lost in this enormous library and can't find the way to classroom 4-F in the Johnson Building. My professor will be ever so miffed if I come in late! Can you help me?
Third Person/Prose:
The last thing he remembered was lying on his bed in his room at his parents' house, a little light reading sprawled on his chest, a bottle of Coke on his bedside table, and he was pretty sure that was where he had fallen asleep. This library was enormous, and didn't look anything like the one at Cambridge when he had toured it last fall. He stood, a book falling off his chest which he picked up and tucked into the back pocket of his jeans, assuming it was the novel he had been reading prior to falling asleep. He looked around, his wide, innocent blue eyes scanning the endless aisles around him looking for a librarian, another student, something to suggest where he was.
When the little blue man appeared on the table beside him, he was too relieved to be startled.
"Hello and greetings!"
"Oh! Good! Hello there! Now, I know this may sound daft, but I'm...Oh! Dear me, I'm sorry..."
The little man continued speaking without heeding a word he had said. "Welcome to The Library! Make sure to update yourself on The Rules listed around The Library! The Rules must be followed to assure that all of The Library's guests enjoy their stay with us."
He looked around briefly, "rules? Are they any different from the ones in any other library?"
The little blue man went on to explain how he had been selected to help the library, and that he would be returned when such help had been obtained. Well, this was something he could relate to! He had helped out at his school library countless times! "Oh good! What did you need help with? Shelving? Cataloging? Organizi...?" the little man was gone, and he was now alone again in the library, in unfamiliar surroundings.
"Hello?"
